In her work, Nicole Schuster utilises both deliberate formations and the inherent flow of nature to create symbiotic landscapes. Organic elements sprouting from inanimate forms and constructions - this interaction of cycles characterised by change is the core of my creative drive.
Artist list
Nicole Schuster
The artist depicts an abstract nature where it is not always clear what is natural or artificial, and where time and place dissolve. They could be machines, factories, or simply "architectural growths" whose contrasting elements nourish one another.
The effect is intended to be expressed simply through the form itself, with which she describes voluminous surfaces and lines.
The handcraftsmanship should also be visible in and alongside the partially machine-based production used to create specific forms and effects. In this way, Nicole Schuster tries to engage with identity and tradition while also respectfully and meaningfully integrating "new" technologies.
Opening times:
Tuesday - Friday 11:00-19:00 h.
Saturday 11:00-15:00 h.
