The Beijing International Jewelry Art Exhibition is an international and academic biennale exhibition for art jewelry. The 2019 exhibition is themed with Guan·Tong. This exhibition is intended to promote the trend of diversified art jewelry creation, explore the latest concept of international art jewelry and also develop status with the popular trend of the international jewelry business, and set up an interactive platform and space for different ideas and trends of art creation centered on idea innovation and academic guidance. During the event, an international academic forum about innovation of art jewelry and an International jewelry design education symposium will be held.
The 2019 Beijing international jewelry exhibition received a total of 658 latest works from 46 countries and regions around the world, and 326 artists were selected to participate in the exhibition. Among them are Stephen Bottomley, dean of jewelry college of Birmingham city university, UK; Judy McCaig, course leader of jewelry department of Escola Massana in Barcelona, Spain; Chris De Beer, Professor of Durban University of Technology, South Africa; and Hiroji Iwata, associate professor of Tokyo University of the arts, and other internationally renowned jewelry artists.
Different from the static exhibition of international jewelry art, the opening ceremony will present jewelry works of artists and designers from all over the world in the form of the dynamic fashion show.
Location for the show: 2nd floor, Innovation Park, Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology.
