Since the 50s of the twentieth century jewel undergoes a radical change: it is not intended as a precious mirror of the status of the wearer, she breaks the rules and gets away from tradition. Then design, art, sculpture, painting becomes inexhaustible sources to express new ideas and tell a new story. Among all we think about the work of the Giancarlo Montebello designer who, precisely in Milan, has contacts with the most important artists like Man Ray and Lucio Fontana and for many years establishes collaborative liaison with them.
