Intro
Through rolling, folding, refolding lots of meters of silverware, Doris Betz invented a movable chain, which was not seen before. The show will exhibit also the drawings that inspired this work.

The german expression "frei erfunden" means freely invented, entirely fictitious, a claim, justified through nothing.
But indeed, Doris Betz invented something new! Through rolling, folding, refolding lots of meters of silverware, she invented a movable chain, which was not seen before. Now, her drawings come into play. She makes her drawings with closed eyes, to loose controll to make something happen.

With the invented chain she follows the lines, fixes intersections and reaches thereby a moveable, wearable image of a unique necklace. With the same technic, she developped a rich variation of bracelets. In this exhibiton you see her jewellery work and her drawings presented.
