Contemporary life and feeling are marked by strong clashes and clear opposition.
The awareness to live in a time full of energies, attitudes, conditions, moods, values in endless contrast led to present the jewels by five artist’s jewellers. In their works it is possible to identify five clashes: light – shadow; lightness - heaviness; natural – artificial; classic – contemporary. These clashes find in the coherent research carried on by the artists a quiet solution. The clash exalts itself both when it is present in the same object, and when it is showed in two separate lines of research. The jewel as personal artistic expression became not only a starting point to think over our time, but also a reassuring possibility of reconciliation to our afflicted souls.
