The recent postgraduates of HEAR from Strasbourg campus kindly invite you to their final graduation show. The notion of the object goes beyond the artist’s book and jewellery. Claire Pontié. Object: Bijou indiscret III, 2018. Enamelled copper.. 7.5 x 13 x 1.5 cm. Photo by: Sophie Hanagarth. In some of the themes that I develop in my work, which are linked to hunting and nature, I explore the more or less violent construction of relations of seduction and the eroticization of bodies. In the series the “Bijoux Indiscrets”, a hidden part of the body reclaims its place in plain sight, playing a provocative game of seduction.. Claire Pontié

Cannelle Preira. Object: Handschmeichler, 2018. Agate, quartz.. 4 x 6.5 x 4 cm. Photo by: Cannelle Preira. What is accessory? Observe the micro-gestures of people around us, focus on a special ray of light, pick and collect the negligible details of everyday life.
. Jewellery is an accessory. It’s the medium that I choose to create and share those minute moments and sensations which give some colors to everyday life; this by interrogating the intimate links of complicity which are developed between the individual and the jewellery object.
. This complicity goes notably through touching.
. Here, it's about transporting and touching or playing with a stone always available. The cut stone just fits between the fingers. The area in contact with the fingers is polished, while the outside remains rough.. Cannelle Preira
