Le verre dans tous ses éclats

In the framework of the event Montreal City of glass, Galerie Noel Guyomarc'h proposes the exhibition Le verre dans tous ses éclats, gathering the works of 11 international jewelry artists.

This exhibition wants to be a portrait of opportunities and influences of glass into contemporary creation. Material with numerous possibilities, already present in various spheres in art, the glass inspired more and more creators in jewelry contemporary field : it may be transparent, opaque, bright, colored but also it can be molded, modeled, blown, cut, broken, found, sand, cut or polished. These qualities make it becomes a material stimulating, dynamic, mysterious, sometime cold but also sensual which meets the artistic endeavors of artists selected for this exhibition.

By this exhibition, visitors will discover a multitude of approaches and aesthetic linked to the use of glass in contemporary jewelry.
