Artist list

Lluís Comín Vilajosana, Ramon Puig Cuyàs, Silvia Walz
The jewel runs in the veins of Lluís Comín since his childhood, by dint of having fun making jewels in his father's workshop, he naturally ended up becoming a jeweler in his turn, a passion that was also transmitted to his daughter. it is essential for Lluis that his jewels are more the artistic expression than a simple ornament; he synthesizes his feelings, his questions, his emotions to bring the viewer to the reflection. often his pieces have a touch of unfinished... it challenges and confers special energy and cleanness his work.

Silvia Walz was born in Germany, she has established in Catalunya for more than thirty years, so she is one of the main representatives of contemporary Spanish jewelery. Silvia's jewels are the happy and fabulous poetic worlds inspired by her fertile imagination and used different metals as a palette of colors. This collection is inspired by her nature study, pushed her to work in a very different way with metal; the enamelled laminate seems to have turned into paper, once cut, shadows are engraved so that the plants are born from this darkness.

Ramón Puig Cuyàs is renowned as one of the greatest artists in the contemporary jewellery field. A retrospective of his fabulous work was held in Paris last spring and an illustrated and commented anthology book has just been published under the title: Ramón Puig Cuyàs, When Jewellery Becomes a Metaphor. For our exhibition, we have received a small series of unpublished brooches entitled Botánicas de Papel, they seek simplicity and subtlety of nuances between the image of the flowers and the use of materials. Carefully depicting and describing flowers and leaves, Ramon tried to make the beauty of the little details visible, which sometimes even photography is unable to reveal to us. These brooches are beautiful metaphors, they remind us that the importance of the little things brings us pleasure and beauty in our daily lives.
