Intro
(...) From global to personal, almost intimate, both works reveal a deep and mindful analysis within the jewellery and art panorama (...)

Shibuchi will join together the 2ndSKIN cork jewellery symposium, which will happen at ESAD. On February 16 will open an exhibition of Jun Konishi and Pedro Sequeira (guest artist of the symposium).
Since Shibuichi opening in 2001, both are resident artists of this gallery.
Jun Konishi, Japan, and Pedro Sequeira, Portugal, started their studies at the Munich Fine Art Academy Jewellery Department by professor Otto Künzli. The presentation of their diploma was done all together in January 2006. Their work has a different nature. Only few meaningful details join these two artists: time, place and friendship. Being so different like a Portuguese codfish dish and sushi, the two authors state with audacious proposals, at the same time brave and polemic. From global to personal, almost intimate, both works reveal a deep and mindful analysis within the jewellery and art panorama.
