Intro
The exhibition Point d'interrogations which is part of the event Parcours Bijoux, steps in the neighborhood’s life of the Cadet street. Sixteen artists present their singular objects in the windows of its shops: jewelleries embodying the issues that engage them to express themselves through this medium. From Saturday the 10th to Saturday the 24th of October, there are available artists every day to answer your questions (from 3 pm till 5 pm).

Jewelleries?
Why?
A jewellery in paper?
It seems fragile.
Is it precious?
How do you wear it?
And when do you wear it?
What is the point?

With this project, the Collectif ViV aims to interrogate a broad public and bring him to discover this form of art that wants to integrate itself to our everyday life. The exhibition wishes to be interactive: the artists will be present every day to exchange with the curious around their interrogations. A space to meet in between initiated, artists and passerby.

About the organizors:
VIV is a collective of six artists who met during their studies in the jewelry workshop of the art school of Strasbourg, HEAR. We therefore have contemporary jewelry as a common medium of expression. We found the association in June 2019 in order to compensate for the lack of distribution and to expand the presence of the jewels in contemporary art, and to make it visible and accessible beyond the insiders.

Members: Augustin Jans, Cannelle Preira, Claire Pontié, Jamila Wallentin, Juliette Même, Marine Chevanse.

About the exhibition:
Place: windows of the shops in rue Cadet, Paris 9e.
Date: October 10 till 24, guided tour with the artists from Tuesday till Saturday, still freely visible the rest of the time.
Hours: 10 am to 6:30 pm for guided tours.
