And for those who are not aware: The Pool is a jewelry collective based in Amsterdam, home to fifteen professional makers whose work spans from emerging talents to mid-career and established artists. Since 2020, our shop in the historic heart of the city has been a space to experience and purchase contemporary jewelry directly from the makers themselves.

Our team is a vibrant mix of nationalities, backgrounds, and generations each contributing their own special vision and skills. Some of us are rooted here in the Netherlands, while others have brought their creativity from abroad. What unites us is a shared commitment to craftsmanship, curiosity, and keeping things interesting.
Over the past five years, The Pool has grown, shifted, and transformed with the times. For this anniversary exhibition, we’re excited to welcome back former members who’ve helped shape who we are today – each presenting a special piece that reflects their creative voice.

We’re incredibly proud to have stayed afloat– and we’re even more excited about what lies ahead.
