The Bolzano jewellery artist Gabi Veit borrows her forms from nature. Every idea is preceded by curiosity and research. At a certain point, however, things form themselves.

Gabi Veit opens a graphics studio and founds a cabaret theatre in Bozen before devoting herself to studying jewellery in Florence. She transforms wax into jewellery and spoons, candlesticks and vessels. She borrows forms from nature. They cite blossoms and leaves, fruit and rocks. The metal is coarse and soft simultaneously, almost alive on its surface. There is a new series in which she deals with the rosary.

Born in Bolzano, Italy in 1968. From 1987 to 1989 studied graphics in Innsbruck and Venice, then advertising graphics studio in Bozen. From 1995 to 2008 co-founder and director of the Carambolage cabaret theatre in Bolzano. fom 2008 to 2011 Jewellery studies at Alchimia in Florence. Since 2011 has her workshop in Bolzano and Zurich.She is regularly exhibiting in international galleries and museums as well as workshops.
