Intro
"I don't draw, I don't make models. I carve materials directly, I carve rings, looking to find better lines, surfaces, points and forms," that's how Yutaka explains his way of working.
 
In this solo exhibition Yutaka will presents series of rings carved in different materials such as jet and stones. Twisted forms can be found in large body of his work, including what will be shown in this exhibition. His previous solo show in Australia was called Mainly Twisted.  So it is only natural and fitting for Yutaka to name this exhibition Still Twisted.
