Borosilicate glass, linen fabric, thread, needle

The phrase "Pour ce qui est perdu" ("For what's lost") functions like an ex-voto, expressing a wish in reference to the lost button, which will be replaced by this one.
The glass knot symbolizes the bond between two parts and takes the shape of the infinity symbol, representing perpetual renewal. The thread seals this union.

Venice, the city renowned for its ancient glassmaking traditions, will once again become the stage for a remarkable celebration of contemporary glass artistry. From September 15th,2024, Palazzo Nani Mocenigo will host the third edition of The Transparent Breath, an international exhibition showcasing the exquisite craftsmanship and innovation of 20 talented artists from around the world.
