Culture and nature are usually contrasted. The word “Cultura” comes from the Latin "culture", derived from the participle "cultus" of the verb "colere", which has many meanings: holster, inhabit, venerate, cultivate... In the agricultural context, it can be synonymous with cultivation and cultivation.
Culture is the set of values, aptitudes, theories, ideologies and material goods created by human beings.
Culture and nature are usually contrasted. This conception defines culture in a comprehensive sense, as everything that is made by humans and separates it from nature, a place where humanity has not intervened.
In the strictest sense, culture is considered as the set of artistic and technological production.
Different definitions reflect different schools of thought, however, it is customary to include technology, art and the humanities, as a preferred pattern of knowledge, traditions, beliefs and behaviours that depend on a particular symbolic thought as well as a set of attitudes, values, goals and practices that characterize a group, a society or all of humanity.
In the 20th century, "culture" emerged as a central concept of anthropology, which encompasses all human phenomena that cannot be attributed to genetics. Ultimately, the term "culture" encompasses two meanings:
-The evolved ability of men to classify and represent experiences with symbols and to act imaginatively and creatively.
-The varied ways in which people live in different parts of the world, classifying and representing their experiences and acting creatively.
It is from this point of view that this year TRESORS talks about a concept, CULTURE.
