Who is the speaker?
Radim Malinic is a designer and bestselling author. He runs Brand Nu Studio, an award-winning branding and creative studio; Brand Nu Books, an independent publishing imprint; and Lux Coffee Co., a speciality grade coffee brand. His podcast 'Creativity for Sale', launched in February 2024, has quickly risen to the top of the charts in over 81 countries.
Czech-born Malinic's diverse background includes stints as an ice hockey player, bassist in death metal bands, indie DJ, music journalist, and student of Economics and Business Management. At the turn of the millennium, he moved to the UK to explore the music scene, ultimately discovering his passion for art and graphic design. His eclectic interests have led to collaborations with major brands worldwide, including Harry Potter, the London Film Museum, Decléor, Adidas, Dolby, WWF, and USAID. Malinic is also a regular keynote speaker at events like Adobe Max, OFFF, and FITC, as well as a guest lecturer and brand ambassador.
In October 2023, Malinic released his highly anticipated double book project. "Creativity for Sale" offers guidance on starting and growing creative careers and businesses, while "Mindful Creative" provides advice on navigating the highs and lows of creative life and business. Both books present readers with proven frameworks for career success and systems to prevent burnout, stress, and negative impacts.
Since their release, these books have received widespread acclaim, solidifying Malinic's position as one of the leading voices in the creative community. He continues to influence and inspire creatives worldwide, with his books, recently launched podcast, and various business ventures contributing to his growing impact on the industry.
