On the occasion of the exhibition Rings That Rock, and in connection with his masterclass at DIVA that same week, we are pleased to welcome internationally renowned jewellery artist Karl Fritsch for a DIVA Talk.
Karl Fritsch is known for his radical and intuitive approach to jewellery, consistently challenging conventional notions of beauty, value and craftsmanship. His work combines traditional techniques with experimental processes, resulting in pieces that are at once raw and refined, deliberate and unpredictable.
During this evening, Fritsch will reflect on his practice, his engagement with the making process, and the role of experimentation within his work, from rings, diamonds and gemstones to casting and material exploration. The conversation will explore the development of his artistic language and his ongoing redefinition of craftsmanship in contemporary jewellery.
Do you have a question for Karl Fritsch? You are welcome to send it to publiek@divaantwerp.be before 14 September. Selected questions will be incorporated into the conversation. This DIVA talk will be guided in English only.
Price: Admission fee
Date and time: 24 September - 19:30-21:00
Language: English
