Intro
You are welcome to join the guest lecture on Tuesday, 21st of April, by artist Nicolás Lamas (Peru, 1980; lives and works in Brussels) on his artistic practice.
His work explores the flows and exchanges of information that circulate among objects, images, and forms of knowledge within complex systems, questioning the boundaries between organic and artificial, individual and collective, and human and non-human.

Through immersive, space-filling assemblages, he stages encounters between bodies and matter, arranging technological artefacts, everyday objects, and organic and inorganic remnants that evoke speculative archaeological sites, challenging our understanding of material entanglement and revealing time as a layered, dynamic field.

Lecture in English at 19h, at the Sint Lucas Antwerpen campus, Van Schoonbekestraat 143. All are welcome after registering here.

More information on Studio sieraad: the program can be found at Sint Lucas Antwerpen Studio sieraad, and on the artistic research platform Precious Dialogue here and here.
