Intro
Felicia Mülbaier is searching for ways to create a visible narrative of what is left behind. This is done by endlessly filing and grinding lapis lazuli for the series Vom Verweilen and by creating the series Momentaufnahmen with used canvas.
Felicia Mülbaier (1988 Germany) will give her talk on 28th February at 7 pm in the Sculpture studios of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp, Campus Mutsaardstraat / Blindenstraat.

Mülbaier herself states that she transforms the material into its absence. By reworking the materials, tactile pieces of jewellery arise. She is searching for ways to create a visible narrative of what is left behind. This is done by endlessly filing and grinding lapis lazuli for the series Vom Verweilen and by creating the series Momentaufnahmen with used canvas.

After a BA in Applied Art and Design (2015), she followed a master's in Gemstones and Jewellery at Idar-Oberstein (2019). Her work can already be found in various collections and exhibitions worldwide.
