While maintaining also an individual practice, Beatrice Brovia and Nicolas Cheng, in 2011 founded “Conversation Piece” a collaborative art and design practice with a strong focus on material culture, contemporary craft and the decorative arts; together they have developed projects across scaels and medias, jewellery often representing the lenses through which the process of making is perceived and experienced.

Since its inception in 2011, Conversation Piece projects have been exhibited internationally at venues such as Galleri F15 in Moss, Milano Salone Del Mobile, Design Miami/Basel and PAD Paris.
Beatrice Brovia and Nicolas Cheng are artist and designers based in Stockholm, Sweden. Beatrice received a BSc in Interior Architecture from Politecnico di Milano and a MFA in Jewellery and Corpus from Konstfack University in 2009; Nicolas graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven in 2006, and went on to earn his Masters in Jewellery and Corpus at Konstfack University, where he graduated in 2010.
