Jewellery designer Evert Nijland will talk about his designs, from the initial idea to final artwork.

Reino Liefkes, V&A Senior curator Glass and Ceramics and Alun Graves, V&A Curator of Contemporary Ceramics speak about the V&A Collection and highlight some amazing Dutch art pieces in the Collection. Finally, artist Carolein Smit and Reino Liefkes will discuss her work and her shift from painting into ceramics. 
The programme ends with a tour highlighting Dutch contemporary glass design in the V&A New Glass Gallery. Collection 2008 is the programme of special lectures, events and activity, taking place in London and Edinburgh to coincide with COLLECT. The talks are organised by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in collaboration with V&A and Crafts Council.
