Open call for Things Unsaid during Munich Jewellery Week 2026

About the exhibition:
Precious.Collective and Pistachios Gallery in Downtown Chicago have been collaborating for almost 2 years to create Things Unsaid a fabulous show that opened in August 2025
34 members of Precious created totally new work for this exhibition... After closing its doors on the 26th of October 2025 it will take a short break before re-emerging at Munich Jewellery Week next March.

You are now invited to join those already exhibiting and apply to be part of this fabulous show which will run from Wednesday the 4th March to Saturday the 7th of March (10.30am to 4.30pm). We will also host a ‘celebration’ party on the Thursday.


Not yet a member of Precious.Collective?
The great news is that you can still apply to exhibit in Munich if you are not yet a member of Precious.Collective. You should view this as an application to become part of Precious.
If your work is considered to ‘fit the Precious.Collective ethos’ you may be invited to join the collective even if you are not successful in your application to exhibit with us in Munich.

 How to apply? 
You may submit up to 3 pieces of work.
Works must be ‘one of a kind’ in nature, have been completed in the last 3 years and must not previously been shown at Munich Jewellery Week.

To fit within the rules we imposed on those who are currently exhibiting at Pistachios:
- Number 1: should be a ‘showpiece’ and so demand a high retail value.
- Number 2: should be of lower value - a ‘wearable’ with a maximum artist price of 150 euros.
- Number 3: is your choice as to value


Key dates:
-  Last payment deadline: 5th November so that payment can clear before the application deadline otherwise applications will not be processed in time.
- Application deadline: 9th November.
- Results announced: End of Nov.
- Selected work must arrive in the UK by: Feb 1st.
- Exhibition dates: 4th to 7th March 2026.


Fees:
- Application Fee: Early Bird fee: by 31st October: 20 euros (paypal 25 euros). After 31st October: 25 euros (paypal 30 euros).
- Exhibition Fee: 70 euros (paypal 75 euros).


Selection: All applicants will be notified by the end of November 2025 of the Juries decision

Selling your Work: 
This is a selling exhibition which is a fabulous opportunity for all those selected. Pistachios will be handling all money and taking the commission from any work sold. Pistachios will put a ‘mark up’ of between 2.2% to 2.5% onto your Artist price. This means that if your Artist price is 150 euros the retail price will be: 375 euros (2.5% mark-up).
You may wish to consider this when pricing your work.
