This workshop offers how to work from a concept all the way to an end-product with the emphasize on the last phases:
To think about the universal desire to extend the human body. The body as an armature, a form to be extended, enlarged and improved.
Think of extensions that are being, somehow, complementary to the human body.
Think of something that needs or could be emphasized, extended, assisted, replaced, adjusted, corrected, reduced, aided, guided, shaped etc.
Think of an appliance for a limitation, boundary, inability, disability, but also a good quality, typical characteristic etc of your body.
What is the relation between our bodies and the things around us, our environment?
In what way is our environment an extension of our bodies?
In what way can our body be an extension of our own mind?
Make a personal extension for yourself/ your body.
