DEADLINE: 31/01/2026

Creation of jewellery inspired by the mechanical universe, integrating visual engineering elements and small functional mechanisms within the design. The aim is to merge the aesthetics of engineering and the precision of technical forms with the expressiveness and freedom of artistic creativity.
Industrial machines — especially older ones — were never meant to be beautiful. They were built to function.
Their forms follow physics and mechanics. Their proportions aren’t guided by aesthetics, but by logic, purpose, and the forces they were built to withstand. And yet, it’s hard not to wonder: Is there an inherent beauty in those proportions and mechanisms?
When we design jewelry inspired by this world, we may begin with ordinary industrial materials or with the idea of introducing one or two moving parts. That choice pushes us toward a static-industrial language — one defined by screws, gears, tolerances, and mechanical reasoning. And from that language, the aesthetic emerges.
Important Information:
Duration: 20 hours in 4 days.
Cost: 800 €.
Teaching language: English/Italian.
Materials: The school provides, as part of the participation fee, the necessary materials for the exercises. The objects made by participants remain their property.
Skills: Basic knowledge of goldsmithing techniques.
The workshop will be activated with a minimum of 5 participants.
Participants may request the list of tools from the school office to purchase their own, or they can rent a complete kit provided by the school.
15% discount on total tuition for enrolment and payment by December 31, 2025.

He learned the craft of goldsmithing and silversmithing in workshops and has held thirteen solo exhibitions in Tehran. In 2009, he moved to Italy, where he earned a degree in Composition from the Conservatory of Trento. He currently works in the industrial fashion jewellery sector and as a freelance jewellery designer.
