Intro
This autumn, K2 Academy of Contemporary Jewellery presents a new programme of workshops for beginners, intermediate, and advanced makers. Led by experienced jewellers, the courses offer the opportunity to develop technical skills, explore personal projects, and learn within small-group settings.

10-Week Monday Evening Workshop – Mixed Level
Dates: 21 Sept – 7 Dec 2026 (no class on 12 Oct & 26 Oct)
Price: £490
10-week Workshop with Elizabeth Bone. 1 evening a week
Monday evenings: 6:30 - 9 pm

This mixed-level course is suitable for complete beginners as well as those who already have some jewellery making experience up to an intermediate / advanced level. You will be taught via demonstrations, technical exercises and given individual support and feedback by your tutor. This class has a maximum of 8 students, which allows for plenty of support for each student.  
Beginners will learn fundamental jewellery techniques such as piercing, filing, forming, texturing, annealing, soldering, polishing and how to correctly handle jewellery tools and equipment. The skills gained will then be applied to making jewellery pieces of your own design. No matter if you prefer more classic or contemporary style of jewellery, your tutor will support you in your creative journey and make suggestions how to improve your designs. 


10-Week Tuesday Evening Workshop – Beginners
Dates: 22 Sept – 1 Dec 2026 (no class on 27 Oct)

10-week Workshop with Grant McCaig. 1 evening a week
Tuesdays evenings, 6:30 - 9 pm

This course is for beginners who want to get an insight into jewellery making and learn fundamental jewellery skills such as piercing, soldering, annealing, filing, texturing, roll-milling, forming, doming and polishing. You will learn how to correctly handle jewellery tools and equipment. These basic skills will enable you to design and make your own unique jewellery pieces, letting your creativity flourish. No matter if you prefer more classic or contemporary style of jewellery, your tutor will support you in your creative journey and make suggestions how to improve your designs. Small class size of maximum 8 students allows for individual approach to each student.


10-Week Friday Jewellery Workshop – Mixed Level
Dates: 25 Sept – 11 Dec 2026 (no class on 30 Oct & 27 Nov)
Price: £950
10-week Workshop with Kelvin Birk and Grant Mccaig. 1 day a week
Fridays, 10 am- 4 pm

This mixed-level course is suitable for complete beginners as well as those who already have some jewellery making experience up to an intermediate / advanced level.
