This in-depth SQA qualification is perfect for intermediate students looking to develop their jewellery-making, design and research skills to enhance their career prospects in the jewellery industry. You can achieve this qualification within 1 year studying full time or within 2 years studying part-time.

Price: Option 1- Part-time: £6,950 per year (£13,900 in total) / Option 2- Full-time: £13,900 per year

All tools and course materials are included in the price, but students may need to buy extra metals and stones.

This in-depth jewellery course runs part time over 2 years (or full time over 1 year) and focuses on different jewellery projects, drawing and design practice as well as design theory. 
The Level 4 course is aimed at intermediate jewellery students who have a basic knowledge of jewellery making.
Projects will include stone setting, chain making, clasps, casting, non metal jewellery,

Time: 10 am - 4 pm

Through a series of practical projects you will be taught core jewellery making skills while developing your critical thinking and creative approach to the design process. Developing your research skills is an essential part of the course and you will be encouraged to explore a wide range of research methods. This will inform your next steps: experimenting with a variety of materials and processes, making mock-ups, learning new techniques and evaluating your work. By the end of the course, you will have built a portfolio of work with a prospect of continuing your jewellery education on an advanced course (for instance, the Level 4 Diploma).
This course is accredited by K2 Academy and you will receive a certificate of completion upon finishing the course.
