Noroeste Obradoiro

Noroeste was created in Santiago de Compostela in 1994, Mariam Dieguez and Antonio Ibáñez were its founders, both with a long previous career in the design, production, and marketing of contemporary jewelry.

Its confessed vocation is and has been from the beginning, preserving the most traditional techniques and procedures applied to the most contemporary expression.

Currently, Noroeste Obradoiro, under the direction of Josefa Castro, a member of the team since our first steps, unifies in the same space the process of design, manufacturing, dissemination, and marketing of contemporary jewelry pieces where ancestral techniques are put at the service of essential forms.

Our second vocation is the dissemination of contemporary creative crafts.
Paula Ojea, Idoia Cuesta, Aitor Punto, Rina Menardi, and Alex Frosum are some of our collaborators in different disciplines.

Noroeste Obradoiro is the 2021 National Crafts Award, the 2016 Galician Crafts Award and it is part of the Homo Faber Guide.
