Statement

Deeply inspired by posthuman transformation and body sculpture, my jewelry works tell the changes of organisms under social activities and processes by reproducing body lines and shapes.

In the latest series, I recorded the different postures of long-term use of mobile phones and the resulting hand stretching and fingertip abrasion. I used hard metal to replicate the shape and texture of the body, combined with my imagination of the future body evolution shape, to create a series of wearable body sculptures to strengthen the impression left on the body by this common social activity.

I came up with the idea of transforming the body marks caused by frequent use of communication tools into a piece of jewelry, and to give an image of this common social behavior. Transform the "mark" into a sign of social activities. My goal is to provide a perspective on the changes caused by the interaction between the body and social tools, as well as the new social environment that is constantly iterating and we are closely in.
