Marie-Charlotte Poirier, living in Villebon-sur-Yvette, France, completed a Jeweler Designer course with distinction through AFEDAP (Paris, France), oriented in contemporary jewellery. In parallel, she obtained her professional certificate (Certificat d’Apprentissage Professional or CAP) in the "Arts and Techniques of the Jewellery".
While her training was mainly oriented on jewellery, she now leaves her comfort zone to express herself through larger pieces, between contemporary jewelry and wearable art, while questioning the true definition of jewelry, portability, experimenting with matter, and broadening the artistic proposal by incorporating into each collection a text that she has written.
Many projects are still in progress; you can discover the first ones like "Spem", on the mourning of health, "Hystrix", dealing with violence against women, or "Klex", on the notion of madness.
