Statement
I am a mixed media artist, I initially trained as a metalsmith. My practice involves an exploration of materials, found objects and unexpected combinations.I transform and synthesize these with handmade work and contemporary design.
With my work, I aim to create dialogues between the past and the present moment. I combine a multi-disciplinary method that involves art history, fashion, material culture, and jewelry history.
With this concept in mind, I create feminine, unique, and original pieces of contemporary jewelry, utilizing innovative methods and high-quality craftsmanship.
Through my practice, I research themes about femininity, identity, domesticity, experience, value, and aesthetics.
