Catalog of the juried exhibition at Villa Braghieri, Italy for the 10th Gioielli in Fermento Award featuring the work from selected artists as Part 1. The second volume will be published by the end of 2021.

ANTE vs POST challenge is the latest evolution of the Fermento project - as the 10th edition theme (evolution & aging) came exactly across pandemic. Observing the ANTE (Part 1) and the POST (Part 2) new meanings will emerge according to the evolution of experimental jewelry. Covid19 determined a fracture or simply an occurrence. It probably enhanced a need to recompose, join, develop the search for a complementary or juxtaposed work, by evolution or revolution, dissolution or reconstruction. Or simply looking for balance. To the first part selected body-ornaments a further set of works will be collected in Part 2, interpreting a need, a relief, a message, an escape, a gratification, a memory: personal amulets of a new era.
