Sogand Nobahar studied Industrial design in Tehran, then she moved to Italy to continue her education in design and engineering. After graduating from Politecnico di Milano & Politecnico di Torino and also some work experiences in design, production, and engineering in jewelry industry in Valenza, she decided to open her design company. She has been mentioned and awarded six times internationally in the first four years of activity and presented her pieces in several locations inside and outside Italy.Statement
The name "Nobahar" has a Persian background and means "New Spring", symbolising a new beginning or rebirth. My way of designing jewellery is based on a similar idea and the philosophy of giving birth to new ideas. Each design maintains a concept and the pieces are made to embody the same thought. I create unconventional and thoughtful contemporary jewellery and design pieces. They combine innovation and tradition and are based on the idea of mix and match. My Jewellery implements sustainability in different steps. From design to production to the distribution process, sustainability has remained a priority. The jewellery is thus more than just a designer piece, it serves as a reminder to live a vibrant and meaningful life, both sustainably and responsibly, to enjoy life to the fullest.
