Mira Kim, one of the three winners of the Herbert Hofmann Preis 2026, reflects on her background and the pieces the artist presented at SCHMUCK Munich 2026, curated by Sam Tho Duong, which explore new possibilities and interpretations of ornamental forms, overlaid with engraved patterns produced using the traditional Guilloché technique.
