What is a Kilim, what it represented and what does it stand for now?
Visual artist Loukia Richards retraces the origins of the hand-woven kilim, a carpet that she has always seen on the floor of her family home in Leonidio, Greece, and that sparked her interest in the political and social value of craftsmanship.
The video is the new episode of a Europeana series produced by European Fashion Heritage Association in collaboration with Basil Papantoniou Foundation.
