A video presentation of Iris Bodemer Construction pendants. A group of works from 2020 made out of electroformed silver palladium plated, plastic, thermoplastic These works have different lives, sculpture, and jewellery as a three-dimensional drawing on the body
The Construction pieces are a continuation of her series Zeichnungen (drawings), which were created from a two-dimensional drawing. Only now, her drawings suddenly jump out of her sketchbook into a three-dimensional form. Wearability remains paramount and since the jewellery is made using electrolysis it makes for light jewellery which could also serve as small objects.
