Creativity, technique, design and professionalism in contemporary jewellery is what you will find in JOYA Barcelona, an event full of activities for professionals as well as the general public.

JOYA Barcelona Art Jewellery Fair is the main event of artistic jewellery in Spain.
• The most renowned international artists, the most important international galleries and the national and international schools will be in the same platform (showroom and boutique).
• This year, the event gathers 295 artists of more than 40 different countries.

Creativity, technique, material originality, design and professionalism are gathered in JOYA to offer the latest trends in art jewellery. It will be from the 9th to the 11th of October in the Arts Santa Mónica, La Rambla 7, where the artists will make public their creations next to other sector's professionals and to the general public.

In short, the fair shows the pieces of 62 individual artists, 52 artists in 7 collectives, 45 artists represented by 5 galleries, 75 artists in the OFF JOYA's parallel events and 37 students selected by 8 schools.

The entry is 5€ for the general public and free for the galleries and shops.

The artists
In its sixth edition, JOYA Barcelona, art jewellery fair, is one of the most international and prestigious sharing platform in the art jewellery field. As well as being the showcase of young authors, students, artists and designers. This year, the event gathers more than 295 artists from more than 40 different countries, all of them carefully selected by the jury, directed by Paulo Ribeiro and Anthony Chevallier - Directors of JOYA Barcelona, Wolfgang Loesche - Director of Schmuck, Marina Elenskaya - editor in chief of Current Obsession, Reinhold Ludwig - Director of the German magazine Art Aurea, Pilar Garrigosa - art collector, Piotr Rybazcek - owner of La Basílica Galería, and Yannick Mur - guest artist and responsible of the poster image of JOYA 2014.

It is an honour every year for JOYA Barcelona to count with such special collaborators as: Fondazione Cominelli, Gioielli in Fermento, Autor Bucarest, Legnica Silver Festival, La Basílica Galería, Alchimia and, especially the participation, for the first time, of the most important art jewellery award of the world: Schmuck.

Moreover, JOYA Barcelona is the entrance door and link of artists from different countries and even continents, which share and explore new tendencies. The majority of artists come from Mediterranean Europe (Italy and Greece) and Latin America (Colombia, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Argentina, México). Also, there will be present artists from Germany, Romania, Sweden, France, Czech Republic, Australia, Portugal, Canada, Poland, United Kingdom, Japan, Korea, South Korea, Thailand, Cyprus and Switzerland. Awards

As every year we will count with the presence of winners of worldwide prestigious awards related to art jewellery. And we are now waiting to know who will be the new winners of this edition of JOYA BARCELONA.

The art school Alchimia will grant an intensive course of two weeks in their school in Florence to one of the young promises in the fair.

A FAD, the Artist and Artisans Associations of FAD, develops an important task of spreading and promoting the world of art and craftwork. Enjoia't, the awards for the elaboration of contemporary jewels, was created with that aim. The awards are granted to originality, technical quality, conceptual richness and the transgression in the field of the elaboration of jewels and to explore their own limits as professionals and as students. In the last edition the winners were Xiao Liu and Frederique Coomans, who will also be in the fair this year.

This year's awards will be granted on the 9th of October in the ENJOIA'T 14 Party, in the Fábrica Moritz of Barcelona.

JOYA Awards are the awards granted to the individual artist with higher jury punctuation of the fair, which will be then the poster's image and guest artist of 2015's edition. This year we will have the presence of last year's winner Yannick Mur.

The Grupo Duplex and their magazine Arte y Joya will grant an artist of the fair with a wide communication campaign in the group's magazines as well as various international promoting activities. The winner of this prestigious award in the last edition was Nicky Stylianou, who will also be in the fair this year.
