Now preparing for its ninth edition, GemGenève will welcome visitors from Thursday, 8 May to Sunday, 11 May 2025, at Palexpo in Geneva. This highly anticipated event will be part of the prestigious Geneva Luxury Week and its renowned spring auctions, further elevating its significance.
Founded in 2018 by renowned Geneva dealers Ronny Totah and Thomas Faerber, GemGenève was envisioned by exhibitors for exhibitors, quickly carving out a unique place in the world of precious stones and jewellery. This exceptional event, open to the public, brings together a dynamic community of professionals and enthusiasts, including dealers of gemstones, diamonds, pearls, and fine jewellery, as well as gemological laboratories, manufacturers, specialist bookshops, historians, and experts. GemGenève was born out of a market need, filling a niche that has come to define its resounding success.
Remaining true to its distinctive formula—a trade show created by exhibitors and open to all—GemGenève offers an unparalleled platform celebrating the world of exceptional diamonds, precious stones, pearls, and both antique and contemporary jewellery. The show continues to expand its cultural offering, with a strong focus on youth, education, and the transmission of knowledge. Under the direction of Mathieu Dekeukelaire, the organisers are determined to develop a high-quality cultural programme for each edition, inspiring new vocations and nurturing the next generation of talent in the industry. The fair also continues to showcase new talents through its ‘Village des Designers’, curated by Nadège Totah, as well as other projects such as the ‘Village des Savoirs’, which highlights the artisans of our generation.
For visitors, GemGenève presents a rare opportunity to engage with extraordinary jewels—allowing them to experience their beauty first-hand, appreciate their craftsmanship, and make spontaneous, informed purchases with the guidance of expert professionals. In an era where there is a growing desire to reconnect with essential values, GemGenève offers a space where authenticity and quality are at
