We are delighted to continue our successful exhibition series with two outstanding positions in contemporary ceramics and art jewelry.
Artist list
Benoît Pouplard, Christoph Straube
BENOÎT POUPLARD’s powerful porcelain sculptures symbolize ruptures in nature, impressions of glaciers and arctic ice masses. The luminosity of the green-blue celadon glazes and the intense compactness of the forms are a reminder of how we treat nature and its resources, as well as the sublime power of water in its many forms. Fascinating sculptures with a high aesthetic presence and a social dimension that captivate us in a profound way.
With his enamel paintings on silver or stainless steel, CHRISTOPH STRAUBE manages to conjure a unique idea of three-dimensionality with his jewelry. Starting from simple basic shapes, he creates perspectives that evoke new spatial impressions. His jewelry is located in an illusionary space that is perceived all the more when worn but one that only exists in the imagination of the viewer—masterful illusionary art full of vibrancy!
Opening: May 16, 2025, 6:30 pm.
Opening hours: May 17–18, 2025, 10 am – 5 pm.
Introdcution: Dirk Allgaier, Arnoldsche Art Publishers.
The artists will be present.
