Watkins' work shows how his jewelry from miniature to large-scale sculptures, has developed portable objects that interact with the body, while art objects remain. Characteristic is an enormous versatility in terms of techniques and materials. In the early 1970s, Watkins was also a pioneer in the computer as a design tool to be applied.
