The artists at Galerie Door draw effortlessly from all sources that our contemporary society offers us. Contrasts play a significant role; between personal cultural background and universal images, expensive handcrafted materials and second-hand or thrash materials, personal emotions and headline stories of today’s world news. In this way, Galerie Door gives a stage to artists who create a new world by combining things of old with the new. Much in the same way, the gallery wants to draw an audience to this fantastic world in which recognition and comfort coincide with amazement and, at times, bewilderment.

From 13 until 17 March 2019 Galerie Door ;will participate in Munich Jewellery Week. Galerie Door is guest of Smudajescheck München - Kunstraum Van Treeck.
