Intro
The selection highlights works depicting fauna, flora and even natural landscapes, which have been carefully studied beforehand. Some designers have chosen to remain faithful to nature, reproducing the exact shapes, textures and details of the original models.
Nature is a rich source of inspiration for artists. Contemporary jewellery, like other art forms, bears witness to the importance of this influence through figurative or symbolic creations evoking animals and natural elements. With this theme in mind, the Museum of Contemporary Jewellery invites the public to explore or rediscover the city's collection of nearly 300 pieces.

The selection highlights works depicting fauna, flora and even natural landscapes, which have been carefully studied beforehand. Some designers have chosen to remain faithful to nature, reproducing the exact shapes, textures and details of the original models. Others have preferred to break away from convention, creating jewellery with a minimalist look or exploring more imaginative avenues. By reinterpreting natural forms, they have created hybrid organisms and structures thanks to the perfect technical mastery of their art. In this way, they unite reality and imagination.

Insects, corals, mammals, plants, landscapes or artistic interpretations of nature... this exhibition celebrates the richness and diversity of living things in forms that are as surprising as they are innovative.
