Intro
There is an extraordinary gift in Georg Dobler's work to experience a fanned-out and multi-faceted view of the world, which does not accept the illusions negatively and not only with cool objectivity, but also with poetry, emotion and magic.
Victor Kraus looked at details of perfect interiors, still lifes and landscapes by French masters such as Henri Matisse, or Pierre Bonnard and interpreted the structure, eleganceand opulence of these art-canonized models.

About Georg Dobler
illusions
In Georg Dobler's works, illusions convey themselves in a complexity that can only underline the complexity of the conceptual connotation. Natures Memory completes the transformation processes of vegetal, decaying pieces into an eternally approximate form of metals, which shows us the finest, biological structures, but also reveals its inorganic character in the abstract geometries of the crystals and cell-like lattice structures combined with the casts.

It is precisely these structures that are integral to the Geometry + Illusion chapter, which reveal structures of conception and vision - our own
mediation of our environment can only be an illusion and thus an agreement, a mirage and at the same time incomplete. We break our image of the world to an understandable level and create moments of comparison in order to be able to communicate at all - this aspect of self-delusion is repeatedly addressed in Dobler's complex, intricately interwoven jewelery objects, even in the abstraction of plant forms to mathematically calculated ones. optical effects translated into lines and surfaces of metal and color.

Despite their multifaceted nature, illusions have recently received a remarkably negative connotation. Formerly even acknowledged as a fun and enchanting spectacle, it says today Do not be ill-iced - the epitome of social action today seems to be the realistic, rational view of things. In Georg Dobler's work to experience a fanned-out and multi-faceted view of the world, which does not accept the illusions negatively and not only with cool
objectivity, but also with poetry, emotion and magic, is therefore an extraordinary gift.

About Victor Kraus
You can see pictures that deal with beauty, but therefore do not necessarily have to be beautiful. For the painter was not tempted by an abstract, barely portrayable concept of philosophical beauty, but by the essence of previous attempts by the Classical Modern to produce the floating state of imaginary orders, the one glory of his: beauty (Kraus in a poem quoted here without a line break).
In other words: Victor Kraus looked at details of perfect interiors, still lifes and landscapes by French masters such as Henri Matisse, or Pierre Bonnard and interpreted the structure, elegance
and opulence of these art-canonized models, their virtuoso harmonization of contrasts and their use of lush ornaments or plants. in short: the whole beauty-drenched aura - with the consciousness and the painterly means of today.
