Miniature Glass 17 is a participating exhibition with the 2017 Auslgass Conference (r)evolve.
The artists this year have created a collection of miniature wall panels and sculptural objects. Along side the miniatures are large scaled objects and wall panels providing reference to the artists everyday scale. Working on a smaller scale can be not only challenging but also quite enjoyable.
The artists participating in this year’s exhibition have enjoyed the challenge and generously agreed to work outside their proportion zone. The objects for this years exhibition display characteristics of beauty, vibrancy and delicateness. Even though they are miniatures of larger pieces, some have taken as long or longer than the larger versions to create.
