12 graduates from four different nations show their autonomous ideas and visions on jewellery, objects and product design. A wide research into materials, traditional crafts, innovative production methods or cultural contexts is the base of their individual design process. Driven to explore, discover, question and shape the 12 graduates developed well reflected and significant new products.

The corporate design of this show is developed by the Communication Design student Raoul Gottschling and is his graduation project. The visual language refers strongly to the workshops of the Applied Art and Design graduates and emphasises its idiosyncrasies. Latest 3D-scanning technology becomes a graphical element - a visual fusion of the crafty side of the study program and future thinking methods.

The successful cooperation between the Applied Art and Design and the Communication Design program complete the individual graduation projects and is paradigmatic for studying at the Peter Behrens School of Arts of the University of Applied Science Dusseldorf.
