Nine jewelry designers, originating from respectively Amsterdam, Munich and Tokyo, will investigate several manifestations of jewelry during a stay in each of these three world cities. Three jewelry presentations with designs by the participants will be realised in each city, under the denominators place, print and new media.
Within the framework of this international project (Re-Places/Key-Places) three experimental presentations will take place in Amsterdam on one day. The jewelry designers who represent Amsterdam will organise the following events:
Print presentation Juweel
Throughout the whole city the jewelry designs will be visible on posters, flyers and cards.
Film presentation Juweel
The jewelry designs will play the leading role, edited as fragments in movies which were selected for this event.

Jewelry show/party Juweel
The actual pieces of jewelry are shown on models. The models have been picked off the street by the designers themselves.

Jewelry design project Re-Places/Key-Places
A collaboration between three international centres of modern jewelry design exists since 1993: Tokyo (Hiko Mizuno College or Jewellery), Munich (Akademie der Bildenden Künste) and Amsterdam (Sandberg Institute). Students of these three art schools meet to establish a creative exchange and to present their work on an international platform.
Within the framework of this international project (Re-Places/Key-Places) three experimental presentations will take place in Amsterdam on one day. The jewelry designers who represent Amsterdam will organise the following events:
