The exhibition brings together contemporary artists who, through jewelry, ceramics, sculpture, and other visual languages, re-signify objects associated with the domestic sphere, transforming them into pieces with a strong poetic and conceptual charge. Wooden spoons, organic textures, bread crumbs, vessels, and materials connected to food are transformed, reinterpreted, or decontextualized, generating new readings of the body, care, memory, and transformation.

The notion of the psychopompic — an entry that accompanies passage between worlds or states—serves here as a metaphor for transformation. Everyday objects cease to be mere utensils and become vessels of memory, presence, and absence, revealing the emotional and symbolic dimension embedded within the domestic space.

Each work functions as an intimate archival fragment, a small affective archaeology that connects personal experience and collective memory.

As a complementary activity, the exhibition will feature a talk by culinary researcher Xavi Queralt,  who will present his work and discuss his ongoing research into ingredients, exploring their origins, properties, and symbolic connections to gastronomy.

Opening day: June 16th, at 18:30 h.
