Art Rotterdam Night in TENT: Katarina Zdjelar – Parapoetics
Thursday February 4 from 8pm - 11pm TENT. presents a festive Book Launch from the Parapoetics Reader and an act by nõde/ Maziar Afrassiabi. The reader is the result of a series of events: in January Katarina Zdjelar invited writers, artists and scientists to discuss certain subjects in relation to her work. Voice, use of language and music play an important role in Zdjelar’s videowork. Nõde/ Maziar Afrassiabi plays a set in which he completes, transforms and edits Zdjelar’s work to a new soundscape. During this evening admission to Katarina Zdjelar's solo exhibition is free of charge. TENT. | Witte de Withstraat 50 | Tue-Sun: 11am – 6pm | http://www.tentrotterdam.nl/

Childrens programme in Villa Zebra
On Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 February from 11am – 2pm or from 2pm – 5pm children from 7-12 years are welcome at Villa Zebra. Parents can visit the Art Rotterdam and Object Rotterdam while their children are being entertained in Villa Zebra with a pleasant programme. At Villa Zebra children attend ‘The Monsterfabriek’. In this exhibition children are introduced to special creations of among others monstrous cuddly animals, a swarm of weird insects and a kitchen unit with all sorts of monsters you can find in your home, garden and kitchen. After a visit to the exhibition children participate in a workshop where they can make monsters and build an environment for their creation. The ultimate goal is to make a performance with their monsters in a shadow theater. Reservations: post@villazebra.nl or by telephone 010 – 241 17 17. Participation is free of charge.
