SIERAAD, Jewellery & Silver Design Fair

After 3 years with growing succes the fair for modern Jewellery and silver design SIERAAD the event will be moved to Amsterdam; to the RAI International Exhibition and Congres Center!

In 2004 nearly 5000 visitors came to SIERAAD specially for the jewellery and silver design, most of the participants did good to very good business, although, and honestly it must be said that for the foreign participants it was a bit more difficult, they must get used to sell not only to the trade and galleries but also directly to the public. Due to changes in the market this will happen more often in the future. But in the coming time the organisation will inform specialy the trade about the move towards Amsterdam and it appears that this will be also for the trade far more intresting. Towards the public a broad advertising campaign shall be seen in as well televison spots, newspapers, magazines as on radiospots. The organisation recons to double at least the amount of visitors.

SIERAAD will be held from december the 8th untill Sunday the 11th in the RAI International Exhibition and Congres Center.
Following the organization the move is nescessary due to the fact that in the western part of the country a greater public can be reached and the possibilities to create a more international platform are much greater. The move is received with great enthousiasm by the dutch participant and the trademagazine Edelmetaal.
Last three years were used to give a steady basis and create a lot of goodwill, now the time is ready to make the move.
Amsterdam - RAI is just 10 minutes from Amsterdam -Schiphol Airport, and directly situated on the main highways and close to a railway station.

Last year the new set up was presented and within this new lay out there will be very interesting presentation possibilities for the participants. Most of the stands will have 2 or 3 open sides and with a minimum size of 9 m2, from 15 sqm the stands can be joined by two participants and from 24 sqm 4 participants can join the fair. This reduces the cost enormously. For just € 1.100,- (ex Vat/Mwst) participation is then possible including standard costs for administration and publicity which includes a full colour page in the catalogue.

It has no need to say that Amsterdam will be the ideal place for SIERAAD to grow further where far more contacts aswell with the consumer as with the trade and galleries can be made.

Aufbruchstimmung also.
