Intro
A practice based on historical research into the role of jewellery and objects as communicators of place, culture, and identity.

Highly active within contemporary crafts since the 1970s, German/South African artist Daniel Kruger, has used just about any kind of material; gold, tin, diamonds, lemon-pips, silk, and ceramic. His practice is based on historical research into the role of jewellery and objects as communicators of place, culture, and identity. Situated solidly within the fundamentals of any archetype he chooses, his work also subverts our expectations, using a sharp dry wit.

When:
Tuesday, 4 March, 18:15 pm - 19:15 pm.

Location:
SOA&D lecture theatre.
