Open call to apply for the Diploma of Master Craftsmen

The objective of the professional master craftsman diplomas is to distinguish with an award those people who have made their profession the exercise of a craft trade or a pedagogical means to give continuity to one or more craft trades, and who have exercised more than twenty years of recognized professional career, with technical mastery of the trade, acquired merits, demonstrated teaching, exercised mastery and contributions to the trade.

The objective of the informative master craftsman diplomas is to distinguish with an award those people with technical mastery of the trade, acquired merits and exercised mastery, despite not having practiced the craft professionally.


Requirements
Candidates for these diplomas may be individuals dedicated to the craft trades included in the Directory of Craft Trade Families, and who meet the following criteria:

- Professional Master Craftsman Diploma: This award recognizes excellence in technical mastery and contributions to the trade and the ability to transmit knowledge of the trade through the mastery exercised.
The following are essential requirements:

- More than 20 years of practice.
- Practice the trade in a workshop (one's own or someone else's).

- Educational Master Craftsman Diploma: This award recognizes excellence in technical mastery and contributions to the craft, and the ability to transmit knowledge of the craft through mastery, teaching or other pedagogical means to provide continuity, despite not having practiced the craft professionally.
The following are essential requirements:

- More than 20 years of practice.

Applications must be submitted within the deadline established by the annual call and using the standard form available in the Procedures section of the website of the Generalitat de Catalunya ( https://web.gencat.cat/ca/tramits ), on the corporate processing portal Canal Empresa ( https://canalempresa.gencat.cat ), and on the website of the Consortium of Commerce, Crafts and Fashion of Catalonia ( https://ccam.gencat.cat ).
